  8. to rapidly build complex applications for client-server architectures.
  9. UNIFACE allows developers to rapidly build applications which satisfy current
  10. information needs while maintaining the greatest degree of future flexibility.
  11. UNIFACE is available for IBM PCs running SCO UNIX, OS/2, MS-DOS and
  12. MS-Windows, RS/6000 and several other platforms.  Applications built with
  13. UNIFACE Open 4GL have simultaneous read/write access to numerous database and
  14. file management systems, including ORACLE, SYBASE, INFORMIX, INGRES, C-ISAM,
  15. DB/2 (through Micro Decisionware's Gateway), and UNIX files.  A single UNIFACE
  16. application runs under multiple GUIs (including MS-Windows, Motif, OS/2,
  17. Workplace Shell and Open Look) and character mode, without any additional
  18. programming.  UNIFACE also works with several CASE tools including those from
  19. Knowledgeware and Intersolv.
